ART COMPETETION - RULES AND REGULATIONS
2025 Savannah Art Festival Fine Arts & Photography Contest!
Theme: Savannah/History of Savannah/Savannah’s Bicentennial ???
Date: Saturday, August 16th 11 am-3 pm
Location: Rivers Crossing Campground & Marina, 508 NY-89, Savannah, NY 13146
The contest is primarily Fine Arts and Photography, but we welcome ALL Artists, Photographers, Sculptors, Crafters, Quilters, Jewelers, Wood Workers, and other talented people to show and sell your creations. C o m e G r o w A r t I s t I c a l l y w I t h u s!
Contest Rules:

Deadlines: Sunday, August 10, 2025, by 3 p.m. All registrations must be completed online (add link here) and art entries must be hand delivered or mailed to Rivers Crossing Campground & Marina by Sunday, August 10, 2025, by 3PM.

Artwork submitted without completed registration forms will not be considered for judging.

Age: Contest open to the following groups: Adults (18 & up,) Teens (12-17,) and children (3-6, 7-11.) Registration form needs to be signed by the artist, and a parent or guardian, if under 18.

Free to compete. No entrance or contest fees.

Medium: Paint, pencil, pastel, ink, chalk, mixed media, photography, sculpture, other.
5. Entry Guidelines:

Adult and Teens: Maximum size 16” x 20” (Should you have a larger piece, email to ask if can be accommodated.) Children: Suggested maximum size 8” x 10”. You are allowed to enter 3 pieces of art, but the third will only be displayed if there is room. Hangable artwork guidelines: Artwork must either be on wrapped canvas or matted. Judging: Art will be judged prior to the festival by a panel of judges and by festivalgoers during the event. (People’s Choice Awards.) Criteria: Theme consistency, skillfulness, originality, and creativity. (Artwork may not be removed until after the award ceremony- at which time we ask that you do remove it.)

Prizes will be awarded per age category and by people’s choice awards. Winners will be announced during the award ceremony at the end of the festival. Winners need not be present to win, but we hope that you are!

Please remove all artwork after the award ceremony at the festival closing.

Sell Your Art: The Art Festival is a Show and Sale! If you would like to sell your contest submissions, please note that on the registration form. Your artwork will be tagged for sale and potential buyers will be instructed to contact you directly. You are responsible for any money exchange and sales tax collection.

Artwork may not be removed until the closing of the festival.

As a courtesy, we ask that 10% of your sale be donated as commission to the Savannah Art Festival. Another selling option: Rent a vendor’s booth. Registration forms can be viewed on Rivers Crossing Campground & Marina's website at www.rccampground.com/vendor
